Breast Cancer Awareness

"If only women paid as much attention to their breast as men do..."

Yesterday was the launch of Breast Cancer Awareness month – 31 days of events and runs and brave women sharing their stories. Landmarks around the world celebrated October 1st with a stunning light display which saw these iconic buildings bathed in rosy (or rosé ) light.
That little pink ribbon may now be synonymous with raising the profile of this horrific disease but 12,000 women a YEAR still die in the UK and many thousands more including friends and family have their lives tainted by this demon. Check out the Breast Cancer Care site to see how you can do your bit to raise funds and awareness.
You can make a difference.
