Cinema Aquatic

Shamelessly stolen from Huh, a brilliant magazine and email update which perks up my day no end...
"To end the Film on the Rocks Yao Noi Festival (curated by Tilda Swinton and Apichatpong Weerasethakul) with a bang, Beijing-based architect Ole Scheeren designed a floating cinema which was situated in the clear blue waters of Nai Pi Lae lagoon on Kudu Island, Thailand. The guests were taken out to the screen by boat, where they watched the final screening between two towering rocks, giving the whole event a strange and primordial feel. The architect described the project as:
"A screen, nestled somewhere between the rocks. And the audience…floating…hovering above the sea, somewhere in the middle of this incredible space of the lagoon, focused on the moving images across the water: a sense of temporality, randomness, almost like driftwood. Or maybe something more architectural: modular pieces, loosely assembled, like a group of little islands that congregate to form an auditorium."

Powers that be at Lakes by yoo, I REALLY feel this needs to happen here.
Sort it out.
This development of luxury lakeside properties near Lechlade, is from the collaboration between the celebrated designer Philippe Starck and visionary property entrepreneur John Hitchcox. The concept is all about conservation and ecology of the stunning 650 acres of private gated estate whilst offering the highest possible in design and spec'. It's not all chocolate-box-honey-coloured-stone cottages with no central heating in Gloucestershire – check out The Lakes by yoo here.
I know our summers usually occur for about six days randomly in early May, but I think a couple of lanterns for soft mood lighting, a bar with plenty of ice, cashmere hoodies to hand and old Bogart in Casablanca on the big screen would be IDEAL.
I'll provide the popcorn, Mr Hitchcox, you provide the venue.
